Florence. The rain stopped when we got here. A walk true the city reveals the entire history of renaissance. The dome is an incredible piece of art. So much detail. I could stare at it for hours. We had to climb 427 stairs’ to get at the top and enjoy an impressive view of the city. On the one side you can see orange and brown buildings and on the other side you can admire arts of work exposed on every street. The statue of David is everywhere. The legend says it was suppose to be positioned at the roofline of the eastern section of Florence.

MOST EXPRESSIVE EXPERIENCE:  In Piazza de Michelangelo, on the top of the city we enjoyed a bottle of bitter-sweet Italian red wine while watching the sunset. Life is worth living!
